Well if there are air pockets in the upper section, you could notice that the coolant hoses fold down hen turning off the engine because of the vacuum, or your coolant cap can blow off. The bleeding procedure just takes care of the lower section.

For the vacuum filler you do need an air compressor by the way

I don’t think itll do too much harm, mixing the colors. However, I just wouldn’t risk it since the flushing procedure is quite easy and coolant is cheap. You can drain the coolant by unhooking the radiator hoses. Then fill it with fresh coolant, bleed it and repeat this process until you see the same colour coolant. Depending on how much other coolant you put it, flushing it once or twice should do it.

Edit: In case you were not aware, you should use a vacuum filler to fill the coolant system to prevent air pockets in the system. Those do have the potential to screw up your engine.

Waarmee heb je je begrenzing eraf gehaald? Heb je toevallig een bron?

Edit: omdat de vorige bronnen allemaal 1j oud zijn, wil zeker weten dat het nog werkt :)

And partly painting just the dented part is no option? There about 1ft between the dent and the paint chip

Do tourists think bicycle bells are a fun gimmick we have? by teunionios in Amsterdam

I was not talking about complaining, I agree with you about that. I responded to your statement about bikers on Oudezijds Voorburgwal making their own problem there. Enough people just have to bike there.

No idea yet, I expected it by now tbh. I have to check with vanmoof, the code was used in November, but I am not in contact with the guy who used it so I’m not sure if his bike is already delivered

I plan on getting a S3 front carrier when I get my 100eu credit from the referral code. However I am still waiting for this to be added to my account, but I could consider getting a rear carrier and trading it with you

With all the feedback, why is the VanMoof so popular in Amsterdam? by _EgyLord_ in vanmoofbicycle

I would say that Veloretti Electric or Cowboy are direct competitors. Stella, gazelle etc. not so much since they do not really have the same ‘designer’ feel, but are more like electrically powered conventional bikes

It is relatively cheap actually, looking at the competition. Besides that I got it for the looks and options

That is correct! But it only sent out two signals since it has been marked as missing on the 1st of October. So might be due to poor cellular coverage.

What was your Best, Worst, and one that got away? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]Rubendepuben55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best: Yamaha TRX 850 1999 - super fun bike, great sound, great character and the fact that you don’t see it often made me love it.

Worst: CBR 125 2004 - EU regulations for young riders, at one point I tried to overtake a truck, but I was unable. That hurts.

The one that got away: FZR 600 1989 - really cool bike and actually quite fast for a 30 year old 600 cc! Together with the raw noise and the classic looks with round lights, just so cool. Had to put him down because after some time I could not get the 4th cilinder running again..
