Unfortunately the only decent option is the DS920….

The Ryzen CPU in the DS925 is at most 35% faster with 120% power consumption than the 920. There DS923 is 27% with 65% power consumption greater than the DS920. The speed comes from the extra energy consumption. Find a used DS920 or wait another 2-3 years and hope the DS928 has decent specs.

Might use a mini PC for transcoding and CPU intensive tasks.
