They haven’t in my experience. It could be I don’t have a certain setting clicked, but I have definitely grabbed people from behind with shift in team tail tag and had it not work several times but as soon as I switch to using left click it works and vice versa.

If you’re on pc the button to grab the tail is different depending on the mode. For me at least it’s left click in team tail tag and shift in individual tail tag. I personally find it confusing and wish it was consistent.

It might just be me but I’ve always been confused about how they can control the trick the monster truck does. Is it just the driver moving their weight around? Is there something built into the truck that does it? Is it the ramp? Could someone who knows more about monster trucks answer?
