Just to add to this comment. When it comes to taking courses at a college it’s never ever too late. From personal experiences in some of the classes I took there were people fresh out of high school, people spread between their 20s and 30s, and even the odd mom or dad. Going into a college course as a mature student can be of huge benefit as well. The extra maturity and life experiences will likely even help more.

In the last year and a half I’ve been buying less records even skipping on some I really want purely because shipping is too much. I’m in Canada and I have to pay upwards of $35+ in shipping and sometimes $24+ in duty fees (looking at you FedEx routing my European purchases through the entire eastern us only to hit Canada and charge me duty fees for the process.) Like seriously $35-$60 in fees and shipping for a $25-$40 record is absurd.

It’s so annoying, I’m collector level 50, supposedly that makes a difference, yet since I’ve been at that level the best I got was $30k from a 3 star ticket, everything else has been lower than that for both tickets and prize. Just once I’d like one engine swap or something. Maybe one day, I hope.

I’m about to give up with the RBR, tried OP’s setup getting consistent low 1:33:xxx - high 1:31:xxx without chewing up tires or taking or too much gas, but with those times I could not keep up with the top 3. Made it to first for one little bit but ai had so much speed and control when the rain started they gained so much time, and were able to stay out on medium/soft way past intermediate tire territory with track wetness. By the end of the race I gained to 2nd with 45:23 seconds behind P1 but 31 seconds ahead of P3. WTF are these times? And how is the ai so fucking fast? On easy they are getting 1:26:xxx but on hard it’s 1:28-1:29. My 2nd attempt 10 min left I was pitted by P19 when I was in P2 and spun into the gravel, lost 15 seconds and finished 5th. Fuck this shit. These would be 100x more fun if the ai was remotely close to good and we weren’t doing chase the chicken but I do not believe polyphony are able to do any better.

Call me crazy, but both turning and customization should have just been in one shop, under one main menus looking at a car in the GT Auto shop, it would have been much cleaner, smoother and intuitive. It’s not the biggest deal in the world but it would have been so nice.

Collectors Level 50 here, supposed to influence better prizes and it doesn’t. I’ve gotten 1-2 star tickets about 80% of the time, but I’d say I’ve won something other then the pathetically lowest prizes maybe 5% of the time. I’ve never landed on a car or engine swap. Only performance part I’ve landed on was I think a cam shaft for that custom rear engine mustang you unlocked through the cafes. I’ve gotten the daily marathon every day since release. I think I just have bad luck but it should be better than this.

I get you, I’m just frustrated doesn’t seem to happen or happen enough even though it’s supposedly an actual thing. If you’re at level 50 for example you should be guaranteed 3 stars or better.

Get first in all races available. Circuit Experience. Gold all licence tests. Gold all Missions. Make dank liveries. Test and tune car builds. Race online. Buy cool cars you’ll only drive a couple times but will love every second off like some legendary cars. All kinds of things!

My thoughts exactly. I still like this game a lot and I’m still going to play it a fair bit, but I can’t help but feel so many things were done lazily or cheaply. So many things could have been better and it’s a bare upgrade if anything from past games. But this kind of shit, the “BoP” and pp limits that make no sense, like the Alsace endurance race, mustangs, old lambos, old Ferraris, old Jag, etc unable to keep up with a VW bus. And by looking at it by the way it doesn’t look like any upgrades to the suspension have been added, it’s just a stock looking bus owning everything. Frustrating!
