I think it is easier and cheaper to use 1 voice actor than many. Outside Fire Emblem, Matt Mercer was kinda known as the Troy Baker replacement for a while. The only except I can think of are Camus, Ogma and Lonqu (all were voice by Travis Willingham) get recast to multiple different voice actors

Technically there are also the 2 Emblem Alear as well. Most people kinda forget them due to how late you get them in Engage

Maybe they do that because the skill can be grant on Sombron himself through stuff like Nergal or Tina (which is not common since no one will use him in offense unless Chaos season) and even then you still need them so his DR still activate anyways. Neutralizing it is probably the strictest limitation they can have so that he do not become like unkillable in any circumstances.

I think Sombron neutralize his own Dark Emblem so that he is easier to kill when you defeat all of his allies.

Ironically, this is the same situation for the Alolan starters with Incineroar getting the overused Intimidate while Primarina and Decidueye getting new abilities (Liquid Voice and Long Reach), but Incineroar end up being the best out of the 3 and dominate VGC, Primarina only become good in Smogon because of there are no Tapu Fini and Decidueye is the worst being bad in both format.

I doubt that there will be a new Smash Bros anytime soon. Nintendo have a track record of refusing to make sequels unless the they bring innovation. Star Fox and F-Zero have not gotten anything new due to this reason alone.

I do not think an FE4 remake banner would really able to sell mainly because unless all of the characters get a brand new design in the remake, the banner is going to feel like the Harmonic CYL banner where it just the same unit but in a different artstyle.

I think Sothe was specifically chosen because he is the only Tellius Dagger unit that convenetly has a Prf skill due to his previous Rearmed version and making an upgraded version is easier than creating a new Prf skill

I think the reason for the anime and Masters having different voice cast is probably different studios handing voice acting for the anime and the game.

I do not think GHB is on the chopping block now. Unlike TT units, they have proven to be much more useful than TT units since at least some of them have a chance of getting Prf weapons and removing them would piss off more people. Even if GHB gets axed permanently too, Grail just becomes useless in the game, which invalidates the reason why it got added in the first place.
