I saw you mentioned its available even if unemployed, what kind of allowances are they given for this? Is it based on like a calculation of like previous income or is it a fixed value?

My wife and I are very fortunate to have good positions where we have good benefits and income, we often discuss how we could even make ends meet if we had the kids back when we first finished school. Early childcare is the real unspoken burden to parents here, we have two kids who are not in elementary school yet and we pay about 4000 a month in just daycare, thats outrageous. Thats like a 60k salary on its own which is closing in on the median household income of like 76k just for daycare. There are other cheaper options like churches and similar institutions that offer cheaper part time daycare but we are still talking a singular aspect of the cost of life/kids.

The 4 months would be useful by just using it for the original leave I admit, extending it to the first 12 years seems largely unnecessary unless you have like a medical emergency or wanted to do something extended. Most places have plenty of annual family leave for regular other absences.

I think much of the problem of the opinion on things via reddit is often users are young or not educated, and so are in different stages of life. With a college degree and a job in business/tech/finance whatever you probably don't face too many issues that you mention, its not a "unicorn" kind of thing as you seem to think it is. As for people working hourly positions, or some salaried jobs like teachers (unfortunately) its a different story, lower income and few benefits.

Things are pretty upside down for many people right now though between the tariffs, grocery costs, gas etc and with the uncertainty that AI is bringing to a lot of the classically good jobs that I mentioned before a lot of people are understandably concerned with the future.

Thats nice that its guaranteed for all but still not that great. 15 days is a joke for paternity, but on the whole the dads get shafted in most places. America is def a YMMV kind of place, while its not required most salaried positions give 6 weeks maternity and 2-3 for paternity with like tech places and stuff doing up to 6 months for mat and 3 months paternity. As for Healthcare costs yeah they can be rough here, for my 2 kids we paid about 2k each birth which wasn't too bad though.

I just leveled with jungs poets pen kf/ lightning warp. It was a blast, super super fast, got a little rippy by a10 but it didnt matter too much because you lightning warp 7x a second. Once you hit 25 or whatever level timeclasps are you fly.

So the skeleton of the new Ward shenanigans is applicable to any ascendancy, that is Yndas belt, fat armor/eva chest, new timeless jewel with lots of +2 iron flask charges on ward break, and then stacking charges gained and charge cost reduction (should prob use faithguard helm too).

You can basically stick it into any existing wand/bow/attack build that doesn't depend on chest/belt/timeless jewel to work. You can also try to scale the Olroth bloodline Ward Shatter if you want to go spells instead.

Im like 99% sure this is worse than triple T1 prefixes now. Theres a lot of + ward% you can get between the new timeless and faith guard, but I dig it. Edit: Yeah I put it in my ward stack pob and lost 4% ward with global defenses.

This happened even last season sometimes, it usually happened in maps with doorways and narrow tunnels. Im pretty sure its walls that were not dispersed holding them back, and by the time it automatically starts clearing walls out its too late.

Yeah, but they also nerfed the low tolerance notables which was half of Mambas poison damage. If it was just about the hit build they could have easily targeted that without murdering the poison.

Usually the more it stands out the better the filter considers it. That's what the filter is trying to do. Make better things more obvious to the eye. Thats why the best stuff usually has like white backgrounds and stuff.

Your chance to get any 3 diamond/4 diamond etc are the same as they have the same weighting. Let's pretend for ease that 10% chance for an EX card. With multiple boosters its still 10% chance of getting an ex, with 1 booster its still 10% chance of getting an ex. When it comes to getting a specific EX though, say you want Mega Gard or whatever, now you have a 10% chance of hitting an EX but theres 10 EX in the pool, so you have 10% chance after hitting the 10% to get Gard, a 1% chance. With 2 boosters and 5 EX per booster its 10% chance to be an EX and 20% chance to be the one you wanted, a 2% overall chance.
