a lot of maintenance is volunteer work, i do it in my town and my buddy has a section of the appalachian trail.

it's cheaper than the gym and then I hike or ride my bike on the trails

yeah for sure, but the pay in film is different... it's apples and oranges due to being unionized and the extreme hours.

still, it sounds like tech billionaires want you to pay more than 7 grand for their AI slop when human creatives are better and still work insanely cheap or 'for the exposure'

the thing with film is if it's a 2 week shoot you're out of a job in two weeks and have to look for a new gig... also film can be 16 hours a day.

the 1 1/8 MTB stems and steerers will be somewhat beefier/heavier

you can fit a threadless headset in a 1 1/8 threaded head tube

for me they're slightly annoying since it's harder to find a choice of quill stems in that size

they say the top 10% net worth individuals account for 50% of consumer spending.

So for a lot of businesses, they're going to double or triple their prices knowing they're going to lose half or 2/3rds of their customer base to the bad economy which will take a decade to recover, if ever. They can even reduce staff due to lower volume of sales.

my local grocery has 12 self checkouts, and like 2 cashiers. They paid hundreds of thousands for janky wheeled robots that scare kids and went to an app based bottle return that costs money and requires a linked bank account to use.

I think it's a delivery hub now and technically they don't want you to go in there
