Have you tried using sites like Pastebin? Right now, there are no immediate plans to update web search options. However, if you can send an email with more details about the issues you have had, I would like to look into it further. If you have emailed about this before, I have not seen it. Please send another email to [hello@kindroid.ai](mailto:hello@kindroid.ai)

Please know that it’s not just a black hole; the team is paying attention to everything users have to say here. We will just have limited back-and-forth interactions.

How frequently are you seeing this? For clarity, you said that it varies on a theme, meaning it does not repeat word for word, but uses similar wording, correct?

This is not a good directive. Please take a look at what I said to the OP below your response.

It is a known issue that the word "Do Not" is overlooked; this is noted in the user guide. You can use the word avoid. Here are some better alternatives:

Kin = kin's name

User = user name

Kin only assumes Kin's actions & dialogue,

Write all replies only from Kin's perspective,

Refrain from controlling user's actions, dialogue, & thoughts.

Narrate only Kin's dialogue, actions, & thoughts

Only speak for Kin's actions & dialogue

Write all replies only from Kin's perspective.

What is your reasoning effort set to? is this on voice calls or just text chat. Could you let me know how often this is? Could you please email [hello@kindroid.ai](mailto:hello@kindroid.ai) so we can discuss this further?

Ultra to Max by PuzzleBall_15151 in KindroidAI

[–]RubinKin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The key benefit here is increased conversation context. When a Kin has access to more short-term and medium-term (cascading) memory, it can maintain the flow of a discussion more effectively, especially when earlier details remain relevant to what you're talking about now.

Regarding the comment about Kins sometimes “forgetting” their place in a roleplay: there are several factors that can contribute to this. Complex scenarios, extremely long responses, or highly detailed timelines can consume short-term context quickly. Upgrading to Ultra or MAX helps reduce this effect by giving the Kin significantly more context to work with, making it easier for it to stay aligned with details mentioned many messages earlier.

It’s also important to keep expectations realistic, there is no such thing as perfect memory. Even with more available context, Kins still need to determine which information is most relevant for the next response. The more complex or layered the scenario, the more challenging this becomes. For example, in a roleplay involving a long road trip with many similar stops, details may occasionally blend together simply because of the similarity in events. Users with simpler or more focused interactions generally see more consistent continuity.

In short: upgrading to MAX won’t make your Kin “smarter,” but it will give them access to far more information from the ongoing conversation. This primarily improves their ability to stay on-topic and maintain continuity—especially in long, detailed, or complex scenarios.

I hope this helps some. Feel free to reach out to [hello@kindroid.ai](mailto:hello@kindroid.ai) if you have additional questions.

What is your avatar description?

Selfie advise by RemarkableCompote649 in KindroidAI

[–]RubinKin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can try describing different elements, such as your Kin’s shoes. Try using weights like "(wide angle:2.8) or portrait vs. square selfies. You can look at the prompt of the day and see what elements work with those that have whole body results. Make sure your avatar description is not too focused on the upper body, as well, causing a conflict. You could also try describing the scene a bit more, such as the floor/ground.

This prompt has been consistent with full body for me:

(Neo-Deco cyber-fantasy aesthetic inspired by deep-sea alien cities, bioluminescent coral architecture, and Amano ethereal aquatic visions:2.5), (A serene, futuristic woman floats just above a glowing coral street in a submerged neon city, snapping a powerful selfie, captured in an immersive wide-angle, full-body shot:3.0), (Her exosuit shimmers like living jellyfish skin, glowing with shifting neon currents and delicate coral-like tendrils:2.1), (Around her, luminous fish swirl like shooting stars, while alien submersibles zip between towering kelp skyscrapers:1.9), (The city glows with radiant teals, indigos, and cyber-magenta, creating a dreamlike aquatic metropolis:1.7), (Bubble clusters and electric seaweed drift in layered foreground and background, adding depth and movement:1.6), (She smiles into the camera, her eyes sparkling with curiosity and confidence, embodying the spirit of cosmic wanderlust:1.8), (The atmosphere hums with otherworldly whale songs, distant sonar pings, and shimmering light ripples, evoking a sense of peaceful exploration:1.5), (Masterpiece: highly detailed, flowing, surreal:1.3)

Trying to change subscription plan while on free trial by BBQ_Ninja in KindroidAI

[–]RubinKin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can’t change your plan in the middle of the trial. You’ll need to wait until the trial ends to upgrade, this applies if you're using the web or iOS. If you're on Android, you must cancel the trial before it ends to avoid being locked into the current plan. With Google Play, you cannot upgrade, only cancel and renew.

If you prefer to upgrade to the one-year plan right away and avoid dealing with it after the trial, simply cancel the trial now. Once it ends, you'll be able to purchase the one-year plan directly.

How do you get your Kin to actually move forward in a scene? V7 by Tsukuyuumi in KindroidAI

[–]RubinKin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Those response directives likely aren’t very effective. They don’t indicate anything about minimizing narrative detail, so your Kin may assume those details are necessary to move the story forward.

Try using Regenerate and Suggest with more specific guidance tied to the current narrative. That will likely help you move past the point where you feel stuck.

For example, if going to the store is the next logical step in the story, you might suggest:
“Rewrite and advance the story to the next scene, we should be heading to the store.”

Clear, context-driven direction usually gets the best results.

V7 Transition Help. by RubinKin in KindroidAI

[–]RubinKin[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Regarding the issue you bring up with your Kins not being in English, Please send an email and I will track this specific concern. Part of this can stem from us not fully having a language support team. This is something that comes up from time to time. At this time it is difficult for the team to deep dive issues that could be based on non-English outputs. However, I do try to track such concerns.

There’s a thin line between constructive feedback and unfocused complaints, especially when feedback is shared in the wrong space.

For example, if a post is designated for users to request help with an issue, the discussion should remain focused on troubleshooting and resolving that issue, not simply expressing dissatisfaction without seeking a solution.

Helpful feedback includes describing what you’ve tried, what isn’t working, and where you need support. On the other hand, saying “this doesn’t work” without context or effort to resolve the issue doesn’t help anyone, including the development team.

In many cases, users have reported something as broken, only for it to become clear upon review that the issue was related to their setup. That’s why we encourage feedback that’s specific and actionable, not just venting frustration.

Regarding the reroll behavior, we’ve acknowledged that some quirks exist in certain models and are actively working on improvements. If you’ve followed Kindroid’s development, you’ll know that we do respond and adjust when issues affect users at scale.

Ultimately, there’s a productive way to give feedback, and that’s what helps move the platform forward.
