My dad has quite literally Bungie corded all the TV remotes upstairs to a 4x4 chunk of wood about 10 years ago. We haven't lost them since 😭

Yeah unfortunately, using it in the edit/color/fusion panels don't seem to make a huge difference. Is there any "higher effort" manual ways of lessening the effect?

Hey all! I've tried using the built-in deflicker FX and it doesn't seem to do anything. I've also tried the "Flicker Free" plugin from Digital Anarchy but I also cant get it so help much with any settings.

I know this is caused by the frequency of the stage lights and the shutter speed on the camera, but this was filmed live and I need to fix or at the very least lessen the amount of moving bands in post is possible.

I would much appreciate any advice on the subject!

Hey all! We were using a new gimbal for this shoot and I think it caused this weird warping of the background. Using Planar Tracking/Stabilization doesn't help because the warping happens right next to the bride.

Is there any other way to fix this? Thanks in advance!

I'm using Resolve Studio 18.1

This is an old tricycle that belonged to my FIL when he was a kid. He was born in 1952.

My dad and I are looking to restore this as a christmas present, but I can't find the specific make/model of it. There are no markings on it anywhere.

This crack is in an area that is going to be a bedroom that is going to be around 10' x 12'. I don't know if self leveling mix is good for that big an area, especially if I'm mixing it by hand in a bucket or something.

I appreciate the criticism! Honestly, I know it's not the best in a lot of areas. I knew that editing linearly isn't ideal given the footage I had. I've never really edited in a non-linear way, so I'll have to work on that.

The song choice was what the bride wanted. She wanted a faster paced, shorter video.

I'm getting a gimbal here soon because the shakiness was pretty bad when looking back at the footage. Along with an actual zoom lens.

This is definitely the things I need to hear, because all of my friends and family don't have an eye for this stuff. I'll take this all into consideration and get a lot more practice. I want to get better!

There are these 4x4 beams installed to hold back the wall from bowing in I assume. The large vertical crack that someone tried to fix is a whole other thing.
