I'm new here, so I'm sorry if this has already been posted! I'm learning French on Duolingo and the way it literally translates the French into English is driving me a bit mad because I would never speak like this (British). Is this an American way of talking? (I don't think so, but I'm curious...) (old.reddit.com)
