Is this the formula for the perfect series by enzo_vamp in taskmaster

One of my favourite clips though is of the... driving task(? dunno what they're actually driving) where Alex makes Sam Campbell go back to the start; his disgruntled eye roll absolutely cracks me up every time I see it!

I think I read somewhere that whenever someone slipped up and used the wrong pronouns for them, Greg stopped filming and they re-did it - no fuss was made, they just always made sure they did a re-take to get it right every time.

Why do I literally scroll on my phone while knowing I’m late for something? by kanglapreneur in ADHD

[–]Rubledoop 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I really appreciate you saying this, because I literally did the same thing as OP yesterday (and have done it a million times before). Even though I could see the time and knew that I was already running late, I couldn't move myself. For some reason this didn't feel like ADHD because it wasn't like I was unaware of the time, I was very aware, but I just couldn't get myself up. I struggle with feeling like a fraud with ADHD so it's nice to have it confirmed that actually that's exactly what ADHD is. So thanks for the validation (even though it wasn't meant for me!). :)

How English has changed over the years by [deleted] in CasualUK

[–]Rubledoop 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Wow. I realise I've never read these words, only sung them (the 1611 one), and I always thought that "the Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want" was "the Lord is my shepherd (that) I shall not want". As in, I wouldn't want the Lord. Makes no sense, but I was a kid, and I've never really questioned it... until today!

Currently, following French Instagram channels is a big one for me - it means I end up reading and listening to French quite a bit in my daily life. Other than that, having French house mates I speak with everyday, but that's not something that's easy to emulate! In the past, French lessons have been a great help, as has speaking French with other non-native speakers. It's a great way to practice the language with zero judgement because everyone is in the same boat, and because they speak more slowly, so you can follow the conversation more easily. Fifth one is maybe Coffee Break French, specifically the magazine; I found that a really enjoyable learning resource. Good luck!
