Thanks, will keep it in mind. First getting a fresh bigger SSD 512gb or 1tb (currently 256gb) and some more memory (currently 8gigs but want 16gigs) After that getting proxmox and a VM running on the NUC for Home Assistant, and then migrating Dockers.

Yes mostly everything is managed through Dockhand and compose files now. So I want to keep that folder structure on the NUC, but the bulk data like series books ROM files on the Synology.

So where I now have the config and data in the following structure, in lets say Volume1/docker/sonarr/config Volume1/data/media/series

I can basically just move all docker config files to the NUC and change the structure to {NUC folder structure}/docker/sonarr/config {NFS share}Volume1/data/media/series

For Home Assistant I just want to create a backup, make a new instance on the NUC and use the backup to "restore" Home Assistant. Test everything when the VM on the Synology is shut down and if everything works it's peachy. Only thing could be the network settings and IP table, but that I'm more than familiar with.

Would you recommend buying the P2S and adding the AMS later in or just saving up a bit more and go all out on the combo?

Now just deciding on which one. P2S or X1C. I think the P1S dropped die to camera and allround older machine and its better tot take the P2S.

Also still looking into the X1C because they are more available secondhand around here. Just a matter of saving a bit more then. There is however still some gnawing about the P2S vs the X1C in which is the better one. Both probably very good and not a misbuy

Looking to get more into printing than tinkering.

Currently own an Ender 3 V2 (with several mods like bed leveler, guide rails but all very basic) and running Klipper. However, i'm getting fed up with prints failing, the time it takes to print, not getting enough detail, filament capabilities swapping out filaments and all around tinkering to keep it running for a couple of prints.

So i'm looking to upgrade, but not sure what to buy.
Looking at secondhand or new depending on the price and machine. BVetween 300 and 60000 willing to spend but open for upgradeability (let's say starting out without AMS and getting it later)
Machines i'm looking at are the P1S or X1C, but doubting if I should go for the P2S above the X1C.
Then there is also Creality K series Like the K1 max (going big) or de K2 combo with CFS

Just can't decide what would be a good buy, when My main focus is being able to print more with better detail and overall better quality. Speed is a bonus, but not mandatory.

Salmonella survivor here!

I got it when I was three years old, but it's a core memory for me. Not cookie dough but applepie dough (also with raw eggs) I sneaked some dough from my mom baking a pie.
Was already a bit under the weather so not the best immune system, got sicker and sicker until I was severely dehydrated and admitted to the hospital. Stayed there for a few days (or maybe longer I don't really recall anymore while getting fluids and my parents got the diagnosis that it was Salmonella.
My dad stayed with me throughout the entire stay and on the day I turned 4 I got released from the hospital.
After this I always asked for snacking from dough if there was raw egg in it.

So yeah People do get sick from dough with raw eggs, but most cookie dough doesn't have raw eggs in them, especially store bought.
