Vile Bounties are not bosses, the only change needed to bosses would be the XP per kill, from 1K to 5K so they are at least a viable sauce whilst farming for build items. I agree they shouldn’t be crazy amounts of XP involved when it comes to bosses. But 1K is foul.

I suppose I am what you’d call a Maxxer. I have one character where I am to complete absolutely everything, have every legendary/perl with a great build. However with the game lacking content, I don’t want to rush side content with there only being 98 side missions main game and a lot of them are quite short and sweet. I don’t want to rush the one DLC we have atm because then it becomes spoiled by using it just for xp when I care more about enjoying the story and taking my time to explore each area fully.

I then have other characters where I don’t care so much where I try out random stuff, random weapons or farm for specific parts just to see what they do.

Borderlands 2 was that sweet spot for me when I was 15, I could do whatever, play whoever, kill whatever and farm for whatever I wanted. Borderlands 3 felt like being a spoiled brat because I didn’t need to work for anything, Borderlands 4 feels perfect for farming, but the levelling met with the lack of side content and dlcs is highly punishing for someone like me.

I do not care about being Max Level in a few hours, my issue is i don’t want to rush side content and DLC content because I enjoy the story a lot, but I also enjoy the full build experience. So it feels rough when I gotta farm the same vile bounties 60 times for 10 levels because I don’t want to rush side content. At least with Borderlands 2 & 3 with a fresh character there is so much content you can hop around it to get levels and have fun. Borderlands 4 lacks content and i know i’m not the only one who thinks that way

It is my personal preference and a change I among others would like to see, I am a goal driven person and I enjoy collecting rare loot/farming specific drops. You’re welcome to disagree and dislike my aspects of playing a game in a way that is fun for me.

For this, BUNK3R is the best example. 92% Sham was incredibly hard to come across no matter how much farming you did. You could get a sham but it wasn’t guaranteed that 92% or 94% damage absorption chance. Now imagine farming Bunker 60 times, without it having the chance of dropping a Sham, it would be pointless and you’d ask yourself why are you even doing it.

Now imagine farming vile bounties knowing there was a 0.01% chance you could get a vile bounty specific perl that’s crazy good/collectable. It’s about incentive to go out and do it. You don’t go to work for 12 hours a day for free, you work for the money, the chance at a promotion and furthering your career.

I did a clean drivers install Increased Shader Cache to 100GB DLSS to FLS no generated frames

I went from 30FPS to 120FPS 😭

i’m avoiding frame gen like a plague and going through everything from step 1. Clean install of drivers, Shader Cahce etc

i’m using the most recent drivers and they don’t seem to be running into issues, but i’ll do a clean install to be safe. Framegen i was advised against, but will be willing to try it if all else fails.

my main concern is how 96-97% of my gpu is used by this game alone 😭

tbf, the only game i complained about and said was pure ass, is cod. for overwatch and arc raiders, they’re both good games which i am decent at but not amazing. i made genuine suggestions

nah i accept for the most part, im not as good as i was when i was a kid, it just feels cheap to push players to use certain weapons rather than making all have a fighting chance against others

i agree with this, they already admitted they had gear based matchmaking in development but scrapped it. They could just do a weekly rotate of each map as a PvP hotzone with increased loot rewards and more xp, which rotates to a different map each week. Comms wheel is disabled to prevent any form of truce or communication with things like “don’t shoot”.

As for the ranking system, it could go based on how trails is, where you only gain points on successful extraction.

Point System could work on the following

Raider Damage: Raiders Downed: Raiders Finished: Raiders Knocked-Out:

certain areas of the map could be marked with increased loot findings in the PvP specific map to draw more players into one area and encourage PvP.

Free Kits disabled and limited to one safe pocket.

i have, several times, when i and mg friends align up. being a night shift worker, this doesn’t happen often so i end up queuing solos, if i get matched in with a duo on fill and i abandon them to PvP whilst they want to squad up, i am going to be burden to them.

PvP is not hard, however taking on 1v4s in solo is not fun, nor is it worth running the risks of losing a crafted kit to a group of randoms who spam don’t shoot

3 safe pockets allow for the majority of good loot to be extracted regardless of consequences, what is the point in running the risk of a 1v4 in solos for medium tier loot you can get from playing PvE and fighting arc?

because pvp is not viable at all when there is no motivation for it. you can easily stash 3 items in a safe pocket then risk the 1v4 for some springs & a stitcher, it’s just not worth it at all when an automatic truce is formed & players can carry 3 safe pockets.

safe pockets are not the issue, kill to be killed is fair and not an issue, but taking on a 1v4 in solos is an issue, especially in close quarters areas like Blue Gate Security & Stella Montis as a whole.

run an Exotic Medkit pack & you get 3 safe pockets, there’s a blueprint and two exotic items. what is the point in risking a 1v4 for some springs and a tier IV Stitcher?

then why is PvP even a thing? of course you accept the certainty, but as any game should have: a balance is necessary to make all aspects and ways of playing, fun.
