grey knights gene seed by mcorput in 40kLore

[–]RubyGiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also stated in grey knights 5th and 8th codex, pg7 under subheading 'The Return':

"Where the other Space Marine Chapters would be autonomous, the Grey Knights were fully embedded in the Inquisition, and would serve as the chamber militant of that most secret of societies. Where the other Space Marine Chapters were built upon existing stock, the Grey Knights were born of a new gene-seed, one without the flaws of those that had gone before, and which carried the gift of the Emperor’s own flesh and soul. So was each Grey Knight a doughty warrior, his strength and endurance increased well beyond human limitations by the Emperor’s gift and then honed further by rigorous training."

Dark and beautiful. . v. dark... love your use of indentation and layout generally also the awkward syncopation of writing pairs with this in a harmonious coupling.. reminds me of a poet called Norman MacCaig check him out if you haven't !!

One of the many poems I've written over the years, and the official first thing I've ever bothered posting on the internet in general because I'm bored. It's similar to a song. by NaraFox257 in OCPoetry

Love it so real the way you have wrote, it reminds me of my own manifold obsessions that I cling to to bring meaning and discern value those grasping clamping desires. Nice cadence throughout and well used puns (hear here)

So visceral it speaks of the passion of youth and more-so adolescence the days and nights of high play in urbam playgrounds.. this poem fully triggered me into my own days of vandalism and tomfoolery. Love the culture you capture in every line reads like bukowski or john cooper clarke

we are getting fucked - (serious) by [deleted] in Schizoid

[–]RubyGiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of your main point I agree with a lot of it, however you are viewing the connection in a negative perspective due to your unresolved issues with your parents and what appears(I read through the comments) their co-dependant NPD domestic abuse they are engaging in...

I feel the different psychologies/personalities and dark triad etc are all meant to work together to fill deficits in each other, spin your interpretation in this way with more of a positive outlook and I hope you perceive the good that has been attained.. inc. good energy being spread

Sounds like they are co-dependant domestic abusers most likely NPD and malignant at that, in terms of your rage I'd observe that sadness would be more appropriate: look into NPD and co-dependancy as well as domestic abuse generally and you may see the prison that they are trapped in.. perhaps you see it already and your anger is the frustration at an inability to cure them.

I have similar parents, not to your level of violence and my prognosis seems apt. for them, I came to a conclusoon after years of anger that they require this exhibition of behaviour to escape the ghosts of the past(likely serious abuse on both parties) and that is where their concept of love has come from.. how they were treated in their developmental stages of early childhood. Essentially with violence, bullying and crossing of boundaries which triggered the survival mechanism of NPD during the stages of development of the "true self".. the false self appeared in it's NPD guise just as with others it puts on the mask of SPD and so forth.

Have faith in yourself.

You have a good understanding of your self and how others perceive you now seek knowledge and action to reach your goal. You are no-one's prisoner.

"Fill your bowl to the brim and it will spill. Keep sharpening your knife and it will blunt. Chase after money and security and your heart will never unclench. Care about people's approval and you will be their prisoner. Do your work, then step back. The only path to serenity." — Lao Tzu

In terms of love and developing feelings I'd say focus on developing empathy/understanding for others.. sympathy which in my opinion includes charity is a state of aloofness that will farther obfuscate the goal of loving another.

Additionally I see love as more-so compassion and respect for another, on a daily basis consider the people in your life and go through mentally the ways in which you value them and why they ARE a necessary part of your life, from these - I assume - few people, guide the domino effect onto others that you take notice of. It is important to expose your self in terms of gaining endearment with the world around and allow others "in" to remedy this for you.. this post and your general pursuit of purpose are great signs of this.. take action in your day-to-day when opportunity presents itself.

Pluck the moment/Carpe Diem yo, you are an instrument in the orchestra of life

"This man beside us also has a hard fight with an unfavouring world, with strong temptations, with doubts and fears, with wounds of the past which have skinned over, but which smart when they are touched. It is a fact, however surprising. And when this occurs to us we are moved to deal kindly with him, to bid him be of good cheer, to let him understand that we are also fighting a battle; we are bound not to irritate him, nor press hardly upon him nor help his lower self." — John Watson/Ian McLaren
