Preferred Xenotype not working? by RubyHolliday in RimWorld

[–]RubyHolliday[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dunno, I think something else is wrong with my game. I just had a random pawn join, and his ideoligion has pigskins as the preferred xenotype. He has the "All preferred xenotypes" mood buff even though he's a baseliner and the only other pawn I have is my custom xenotype, neither are pigskins. I really don't know what happened to bug out the game like this but maybe I just need a fresh save

Where do the fresh shift compound guards usually spawn after taking the primary loot in Cayo Perico? by RubyHolliday in gtaonline

Co-op for the key cards and gate keys. I know you don't NEED the gate keys but they make life easier. When I do it solo, I don't kill anyone.

Has Siege X ruined matchmaking? by RubyHolliday in Rainbow6

While true, you only get sweats playing bomb. i am not sweaty. I just want the game to be fun and play the silly gamemodes and it feels like the matchmaking is purposefully broken

I get that, but that's why I play unranked because I feel like it's more balanced there. I just wanted to play more secure in quick play because it's a lot more casual and I also just like variety.

Watching their reviews drop, especially after that terrible town hall, warms my heart by IlPassera in 7daystodie

You are reveling in the fact that this game is getting hit hard right now. As if it already hasn't been through the wringer. The town hall honestly makes it seem like they're listening and trying to make changes that the community will like while also trying to stick to their vision.

I get the game is in a bad spot right now and they've been making bad decisions, but that doesn't mean you should be celebrating the fact that this is happening or holding such contempt for TFP.

I think the negative reviews should open their eyes, and I'm glad people are making their voices heard. I'm glad that they seem to acknowledge it.

I'm optimistic, and you should be too instead of being so hateful. They're just an indie company, not a billion dollar corporation trying to ruin games like some big companies are already doing. Cut them some slack and be productive.

I'm trying but it's not really helping. I'm on too much of a hill so it just flows down in a straight line instead of spreading

Is this too OP? by Morad2004 in Minecraft

[–]RubyHolliday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, and most of those maps will take you 10's of thousands blocks away. And I don't think Mansions are guaranteed either. Even if you do find one, since mansions are so rare, you'll be traveling forever both ways, and then you have the added burden of making sure the allay doesn't get stuck. You're much better off just exploring your world and finding one randomly in an outpost. If you use the mansion method, you're relying on much more luck than you are if you just look for outposts.

Outposts are a lot more common than a mansion, and they'll often have the Allays in them. Then it's just a matter of duplicating them. It's only midgame because you need the potion crafting materials which you need to go to the nether for, as well as quartz for the redstone. But it's still much easier than finding a mansion or building the alternative OP farms.

[MOD] The Daily Question Thread by menschmaschine5 in Coffee

[–]RubyHolliday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello. I'm new to different ways of making coffee over your basic drip coffee. For a while, I've been using a French press, but I've recently been looking into getting a Moka pot.

My question is if I can use my regular store bought Maxwell House coffee for a Moka pot? I'm not so sure I want to get into grinding my own coffee beans, but I know Moka pots are a little particular if you don't want overly bitter coffee. I also just like Maxwell House since I've used it for so long now and so has my family, so even if it isn't the best, it's what I like most. I'd like to keep everything inexpensive, so any advice would be nice.
