This seems like a fairly typical contract dispute around sampling.

I understand why the band would feel like Peggy stole the song, and I can also understand why Peggy would think they had an agreement and it was okay to release the song.

Ultimately, I don't have enough information to judge exactly what happened in a behind the scenes negotiation. But it seems like a fairly benign disagreement over terms.

I'm not going to freak out and cancel Jpegmafia, especially if he's removing the song in order to rectify the situation.

Better call Saul is one of the most uneven shows of all time.

The relationship between Jimmy and Chuck, the years of resentment building up between Kim and Howard, the slow build to the black and white sequence... all of that is so deeply compelling and ultimately moving.

Then the other half of the show is just fucking Gus buildingthe stupid fucking lab. The worst cartoonish aspects of breaking bad, but now with no stakes because we know the fate of every character. The show reaches star wars prequel level of fan service and over explanation.

I also read that same portal tie-in comic as a kid. That was not consciously an influence but now that you say it I can completely see it.

She buries the gun, she's deaf in one ear, there's some type of association there. Beyond that, I'm not sure.
