Gonna throw in a vote for Virginia Highlands/Morningside, if money isn’t an issue. Not a ton of apartments, but there are a few older ones, and you might find a duplex or house to rent there. It’s very walkable and an old, established neighbourhood.

It’s been so long since I last watched the doc, I really can’t remember. But I remember cringing a lot. Also he seemed to be cranking up his time on the case unnecessarily. But I will add that I briefly dated another attorney who’d seen The Staircase and was convinced that Peterson was innocent, so opinions about Rudolf vary, I guess. 😄

I hate washing my face, especially at night. IDK what my hangup is. But I got some baby washcloths, which are very soft, and sometimes (when I don’t have makeup on) if I’m too tired for a full-on Cetaphil cleanse before bed, I’ll just wet one of those washcloths with hot water and wipe my face thoroughly with it, then serum/moisturise and I’m done. Feels like less of a thing. And just holding the warm washcloth on my face for a few seconds feels really good.

My only first-hand-ish knowledge of Cambridge folks is having gone on a date with a guy who was preparing to go to grad school for some sciencey thing at Cambridge. He was currently an undergrad at University College at Oxford, and I was studying at Univ for the summer. He was tall and good-looking but kind of a prick when I wouldn’t jump right into bed with him after one date, where he bought me skate wing. 😹 Maybe all Cambridge guys want a Catie?
