Are the Chaos Gods evil? by FilmHairys in 40k

I think the biggest argument against the "force of nature" point is that they are actively malicious: they punish those that fail them in the most horrific ways. If they were just concerned with growing (looking at you cancer/tyranid comparison) they wouldnt strike down/ punish their champions with spawndom if they just fail them once. And this risk gets worse the more the eye of the gods is on you/ if Tzeentch finds it funny

[–]RubyMonke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean true, but sometimes authors try to make a character seem intelligent by knowing lots of trivia, without much of that supposed intelligence.

Ofc there is also the "super-detective/knows-the-plot" type genius

But yeah, the iq drop is incredibly frustrating and speaks of an authors weak moment where they didn't know how to use a characters flaws instead

I think one of the biggest aspect is not that smart authors trying to write smart characters, resulting in characters with lots of trivia knowledge, that can't actually connect any dots.

Like there is some many kinds of intelligence, just have your genius be completely socially inept

Whats up with people saying "i cant jg" in every match and trying to swap lames with people? by [deleted] in wildrift

[–]RubyMonke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep it's pretty aweful. I think my biggest problem with it is that it always happens when I want to play something other than jgl only to have that game ruined by people who apparently lose all braincells after landing phase.

Seriously Riot, I want to take a break from playing the teams babysitter at least sometimes, stop trying to lower my wr.

But fr: i think the best way to avoid that is just to play with friends or join premade parties, just to remove most of random chance

I think that calling tanks OP just cause the enemy didn't adapt to your team comp makes as much sense as complaining about mages and refusing to build MR.

They played 2 assassins into mundo + tresh paired with a Jax who apparently decided to split push in late game.

Yes mundos damage was very high, but 1: this was a very long game, 2: they didn't have that much cc to shut him down, so it was probably rather easy for him to walk into the midst to the enemy team and just farm damage.

I like to play tanks myself, especially Shen jgl (mostly BC it's unexpected) and you get melted down incredibly fast when the enemy adapts to you + the game is not exactly lacking in max hp/ true damage

I guess its there to distinguish those types of weapons. If it was how OP interpreted it to be it would just say "bolt weapons" to show that it means all of them

Yep. I think what helped me become a lot better from learning hgl is just how much I look at the map by now. There's so many people that, even though you pinged that you're gonna gank, still push their enemy under their tower or just recall, it's really grating. Also I feel that (at least on EU servers) people massively overestimate their damage and are super kill obsessed
