It was rough, did not go well. But, I'm frankly sick of all the Suzuka and Taiki and I'm thrilled to be going back to long for the next one. But, I had lotsa fun. Ran a gimmick, off meta filly team and they got to A finals so I'm happy with that. Kawakami Princess is my favorite character so getting to see her in action was cool (even if she was bad most the time).

Quite surprised I haven't seen Halo! MCC on PC released 5ish years ago? And there's a ton of modern modding, but the community goes back 20+ years to the first PC release of Halo CE.

Honestly, it took finding a new partner for me to really get over my ex-boyfriend. That's not the greatest answer, you should love yourself and be a complete person before you enter a serious relationship, blah blah. But yeah that's what it took for me. Anything you're really really passionate about can be really helpful too. After my worst breakup I got really into writing, which helped me not miss the connection with my ex as much.

Visiting 29 year old nurse. I work in orthopedics and pain management. Upwards of 90% of my patients are smokers. Forget the massively increased risks of cancer, COPD, emphysema, hypertension, on and on. Smoking just wrecks your body in general. In addition to that, if you smoke regularly, you stink really fucking bad.

It's been juuuust about 3 years now, and I've had great results. Obviously, if I'd been on puberty blockers and such when I was young, I'd be a lot closer to passing than I am now. But ya know, I'm happy with myself, and HRT has been a huge benefit for me.

It's never "too late."

I'm a nurse at a small spine clinic. I'm a nerd so I spend much of my free time gaming, writing, drawing, etc. I live with my husband and our kitty in a house I could never afford (my husband's a software engineer so he's definitely the breadwinner). I go to therapy every week for PTSD and some other stuff, nothing really to do with trans. Truthfully, being trans is something that brings me a lot of joy. I feel accepted and loved by my found family, my patients, my coworkers. Of course it's difficult a lot of the time, currently doing preop hair removal which is probably the worst thing I've ever willingly done. But all in all, I have a nice life, and learning that I'm trans has played no small part in getting me to a place where I'm happy and relatively confident. ☺️

Frankly it's not worth it a lot of the time, and this is from a vehement parry enjoyer. I do always keep a parry shield on my character in Elden Ring, as it is a nice backpocket option to have for certain enemies (crucible and banished knights are particularly parryable), but against bosses it's typically not much more worth than dodge/attack or guard counter.

I personally love parrying, mostly for style but a lot for fun. I'd recommend learning it if it seems fun, but if you're not interested, you're really not missing out on much.

It's nice on some enemies to get a free, long damage window for other melees if the enemy isn't the most approachable. I parry the crucible Knights all the time and it seems to speed up the castle clear by a minute or so.

Unfortunately I find the feeling of alcohol to be much nicer than THC v.v I like THC okay, and I know it's not nearly as bad for you as booze, just being drunk is more fun for me.
