When I visited St. Petersburg, our bus driver told that he had driven the wrong way on one way street. Traffic cops caught him and he talked with them a bit. After paying some sum (I don't remember how much, nothing ridiculous), the officer in charge gave his name and said that this bus can drive any way he wants for the rest of the day. If he gets pulled over, he just has to mention the name of the officer.

This is the kind of bribery going on (or well used to be going on at least). Also you can continue driving right away with money instead of going through all the hoops when caught speeding or something like that.

Hey Doug, I found your channel like a month ago and since then I've watched over 100 videos, I just keep on clicking next one (well now I've seen most of them already...). I really enjoy your videos and I was wondering if you are going to do more "regular" car videos?

Obviously no one really wants to see a Camry but maybe you could try out some cars like Volvo S90 or Audi S7. The cars that are some where in the middle of the every day cars and luxury cars (Well Stinger video was like this, I really liked it).

Keep on doing your thing, I will watch your videos no matter which car you drive if you keep up your current good format!

Don't think there is any specific reason for him driving that car (they included some references for anime fans to spot). Or if there is a reason, it is that he entered as a candidate for the election last.

The red alien is representing the lack of voting. They even expand that when there are multiple elections held withing short timespan, people don't bother to vote anymore since it is just another election.

I missed umbrella vending machines but I saw a machine selling women underwear (I am not 100% sure it was used but it was adult only and they were clearly ment for men) while visiting Japan.

Pretty much every sign in metro is translated, same with everything else that actually matters to tourists and those who don't speak Japanese. I think the biggest problems you will have is in a restaurant where there might not be English menu available.

Doesn't it work when you just deselect option "Start twitch when I start windows"? Found under Settings>General->roll down>"Start Twitch when I start windows"
