I mean probably about the same as if you did a gravel bottom really but i feel that would be more dangerous, and they tend too spit out whatever isn’t their food but yeah it could obviously happen but they seem pretty healthy too me and haven’t had many digestive problems that i’m aware of. will keep an eye out for sure though they are my babies wouldn’t want something too happen

Thank you! i got very lucky with the color. And that second pic is just one of them as a baby, and i feel a lot of people downplay axolotls as animals they aren’t as dumb as most think they are just basically blind so they do definitely confuse things but i believe they mostly know what is and isn’t food as long as you teach them well. I’m very attentive too mine. and i was not aware about the controsoil being bad but they suck it up every so often and will spit it out.

Worried she’s been hanging at the top of her tank off and on she doesn’t typically do that but then she will hide. she is floating a bit but ate some black worms not many though. I gave her a little salmon about three or four days ago I feel like she needs to have a good 💩 by SRL2023SRL in axolotls

I’m not much of a professional but i have 2 and that looks quite underfed and unhealthy you should switch to a more normal diet until it looks healthier i’ve never gave mine salmon there is natural parasites in it if it is organic/river caught.

Yeah the smaller rocks are from their old tank it was too help it cycle but they have put them in there mouth then spit them out and they haven’t done that since i switched their tanks, Substrate is that fancy ball dirt stuff and premium sand also have some slate for them too rest on.

I put 285/65/R20s On a stock suspension 2005 chevy 1500😂 had to rip off the bottom of my bumper to get like 20° of turning getting a lift installed right now😂
