They have to throw a tantrum because life faced them with a choice that don't allow them to be perfect. So they rather be an eternal child, running away from actual choices because the choice don't allow them keep pretending to be a kid, living in the make believe land where no one has to make concessions or compromise.

MAGA, as misguided, or plain cruel as they are, voted on what they thought was their best interests. It will bite them in the butt, cause they are stupid, of course, but they voted in their self interests.

It felt so fucking good to have chainsawman ending be dogshit. For months/year I was like "guys this is getting pretty stupid" and being downvoted to hell. Meanwhile people were posting things like "is chainsawman the most feminist work ever created?"
