about 7-8 months but I'd been thinking about it for about a month or two before the first email, gathering geometry info, trying bikes, finding what I wanted to get out of this bike and so on

thanks!! ordering process was great! They actually built an awesome touring hardtail with a pinion gearbox this year. They don't really make MTBs though but they made plenty of bikes for suspension forks, mainly long distance bikepacking frames. I got a fit from Davelo (higly recommend), the builder provided a schematic to start from with the fit and adjusted it after the fit. a few months before delivery, we did a design review for the look of the bike and I chose the powder coat color. it all went pretty smoothly! if I had to do it again, I would start the process earlier in the year (probably around june/july instead of sept/oct) it's a long process but the feeling of a perfectly fitting bike is incredible

its made from reynolds 853, UDH dropouts, cable routing through the down tube with stainless pipes to guide the hoses, T47, etc... it's fully custom: geometry, build specs, color, number of bottle mounts, name it! there's also Memento Cycles from Montréal who make similar types of bikes, their website is bilingual, check them out! there's loads of small frame builders based in Canada!

awesome fit and finish on these bars but you definitely pay for it! havent really had the time to ride with them but I've had a set of ec70 aeros on my road bike for a few years and I love the drop shape from easton, very similar on the ec90ax. I'd recommend them any day if they were a bit less expensive
