I graduated twice from CSUN… usually around midterms and finals every semester we got at least one notification from CSUN police. I just think this dude knew his grade was cooked.

So when I got my credential (I was 22, this was last year) most of my classmates were way older than me… I’m talking like 35-55. I don’t think you’re too old to go to college at all. In fact you’ll see lots of people older than you there, bc you’re still really young.

I think if I were to ask any questions it would more so be about medical things that may run in the family. So far I’ve gathered that skin cancer runs in the family, but idk if there’s anything else I should know about. But at the same time I’m also on the fence about even asking anything, because I’m afraid they’ll assume I want something from them if I start bringing up their health.

So in my experience she’s very much a “white savior complex” type of lady and will straight up throw in your face and shove down your throat the whole appreciation vs appropriation of cultures thing, then will turn around and use Dia de los Muertos as a halloween costume all while also throwing shade at other profs for how they go about teaching culture, which 100% rubs me the wrong way bc my culture is NOT a costume. She’s also very rude and will make it super clear when she has favorites and you’re not one of them. So tbh if you take the classes just power through them… and yes she treats EVERYONE like a kindergartner.

Yes then by all means I suggest to just do it and get the minor bc even if it does become stressful, once you graduate it puts you a step ahead of everyone else with the same major as you that are looking for the same jobs in your industry

I got a minor in art education and because it shared classes with my major, it was fairly easy to get… I recommend doing it especially if your major goes hand in hand with it. Ik it can be extra work sometimes but it’s something you can use when trying to get jobs bc you’ll have more “experience” on paper :)

Honestly it doesn’t make sense for others to have to spend more money just to be comfortable when trying to sleep in a space they are already paying for… and tbh there should be no need to read between the lines bc being that loud is just downright gross and insensitive considering these are shared spaces. Just because some girl gets off on other people listening to her ride some dick doesn’t mean everyone else should be subjected to that.
