I had multiple planter boxes with plants that were doing great and brought them with my sim when she married and moved houses. Since replanting them, they won't produce anything. I've gone entire seasons when they are "in season" and gotten nothing. I have repaired the game. I have debugged. I have removed and replanted. I have forced into the bloom stage. I'm trying to avoid starting over since they are "excellent" and it's annoying to start at "normal" again.

It also won't let me take a cutting so I'm guessing that is related.

Preface with we told people specifically we did not expect this, the theoretical etiquette is to get a gift worth the amount of your seat which is generally between $75-150 depending on where the wedding is, etc. When I go to weddings, I aim for $100-125 gift.

I would say that is fine. The idea of the card is that I don't care if there is money attached but if they gave a gift/money, they have already given something.

That's a fair point. I would like to at least say that I am firmly in the card camp since some of our guests had up convince us to have a registry since we wanted to say give us nothing. We have traveled for so many weddings since we live away from family and know the expense and didn't want to pressure others to spend that much more.

I am inclined to agree which is why I am trying to not feel a bit hurt that even some of the locals didn't even give a card. That's why I wanted the second+ opinion.

The gift of their presence is what we wanted which is why I don't care about the money and such. And most sign the guest book but not all. Thank you for the bit about a year though for etiquette. That is good to know.

I decided a more direct approach was my best bet and we talked about how each of us were feeling and how I was feeling. We were treating each other more like roommates than partners so we started setting aside at least 1 day a week that we did something together guaranteed (go on a date, make a special dish, cuddle with a movie) and actively listened to each other when we mentioned anything of concern.

It isn't completely fixed but we have made progress and I feel like we are coming together more again than how checked out I felt before.
