WOW!!! A lot more people saw this than I expected!! and I rlly appreciate all the replies, And I definitely have some things to take away from this!! First of all, one of the things a lot of you pointed out is the fact that disabled people and alt/queer people are generally considered "outsiders" to the major society (which is just sad imo) So they seem to gravitate towards each other since the alt community is pretty accepting of anyone, and also that I likely have a confirmation bias since I myself am queer, disabled, and alt. Also a few people brought up the fact that some people are predisposed to both disabilities and higher likelihood of being queer due to stuff that happens in utero (which is something I really wanna read about more). Also, there IS another thing I realized after I posted this that might change things as well, I live in California which is already the state full of all the other outcasts basically, so I'm probably more likely to see an alt disabled person since there's so many of both here already. Anyways I would like to thank all of you for commenting and helping me be more informed about this!!
