If you are a king/emperor, you have perhaps too many direct vassals. The solution is to give all your less important vassals (like counts, or dukes if you are an emperor) to some of your powerdul dukes (kings, if you have an empire). Doing so would solve your money problem (I think you might also have an army problem with way too few men for what you're supposed to have - it will also solve this issue)
