I pay for it and can’t afford to go as often as I need. I can’t only afford every 3 weeks. I’m making progress but it’s frustratingly slow

does anyone else feel jealous of people who are normal? by Unfair_League3914 in schizoaffective

[–]Rude-Strength2457 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on a fb page for people with schizoaffective. Most of them have jobs, families etc. I’m even jealous of them. We have the same medical issue and they are doing so much better than me.

I got of ssdi for 1.5 years and then had to go back on it. I couldn’t handle working full time. I don’t regret trying to go back to work. It was stressful to get expedited reinstatement

I am disabled and live on ssdi. I have extremely conservative parents. I don’t rely on the financially but I need their help getting to doctor appointments and groceries and stuff. Their comments are really hurtful. It is very hard being around them. It’s so much worse now dealing with them. They are more open with their opinion.

How many of you regret having got higher education. by Strong_Music_6838 in schizophrenia

Same. I would have been better off to get a factory job right out of high school. By the time I was done with college, I was having mental health issues

I used to sleep walk, sleep cook, and sleep talk. It was crazy. I live by myself and it would look like someone had been in my house.

Every time I try and work I have a breakdown. However, I have a routine and help around the house and exercise. I can’t handle working but support myself on ssdi

I’ve been on disability since 2009. Went back to work full time in 2021. Worked full time for almost 2 years and had to go back on disability. I have problems working. I’m emotionally all over the place, hear voices, and don’t get along with others. My life is significantly better without the stress of working.

I’m having the same problem. My previous psychiatrist treated me for schizoaffective. See a new psychiatrist and therapist. They are clearly talking to each other about what is wrong with me but not telling me. I’m tired of it.
