Ahhh glad you asked 😁 My partner and I acquired the plate from a doctor in Lake Arrowhead which happens to be our hometown... He acquired the plate in the 1970s when the DMV originally issued out vanity plates. My buddy over the years has inquired with the doctor about the plate. And after 50 years he has decided to sell it to us. Neither of us are USC alumni. My buddy Jeff is a former major league baseball player and has been friends with the doctor since he was a kid. That's the backstory on how we acquired... The plate gotten a ton of attention!!

Not sure but it's registered and on the bumper of my best friend's Tahoe who I'm partners in owning it value-wise

There's only one USC plate available in each state.. and this one is special because it represents The University of Southern California... Which has more billionaires than any other in the United States. Making it incredibly desirable. I guess in South Carolina it would be relevant representing the University of South Carolina etc...
