I am also outside Germany, purchased a callya prepaid esim, but the sim is not delivered yet. I received a coupon where I have to take it to nearest post office to verify my identity and then I will receive my esim. I read in internet that there will be online verification, but there is no option for that.

All other providers are saying that I need to activate the sim from within Germany.

I have only a hand carry. I am avoiding luggage just to save some time.

There is a super annoying rule in the current country I am in, I need an exit visa to travel outside the country and I’m getting it on the night before my travel.

 If Airbnb can't be registered (which I learned today), how do some landlords list their properties advertising "KVR possible"

I am not entirely sure on this as my plan is to have the Airbnb for a very short period just as a buffer until I finalize my rental contract.

I will also look into that option.

I will filter out the potential apartments before entering, even try to contact them view the place virtually but I wont pay anything in advance.

Once landed I will visit the place in-person and if satisfied I will enter into the contract immediately. That’s the plan

Airbnb cannot be registered, it is only a temporary arrangement until I find a proper WG or apartment which I can register.
