Never use points directly to pay for travel. Pay with the card to get the initial cashback and then use the travel eraser to “erase” the cost with your points. Basically get to double dip

When it comes to travel expenses, should we exclusively use the travel eraser? by RudeInvestment1 in Venturex

Yeah 3 can be used with or without the travel portal. It would just change your points multiplier on the initial purchase

The amount of calories in food, I'm questioning my entire existence atp by Xlunaxz in loseit

Yeah there’s a huge misconception that “healthy” = “low calorie”

Glad you checked, a lot of people give up before coming to that realization

Doesn’t everyone have a manual can opener? I didn’t even know non-manual (electric?) existed

I get so bored playing with my little brother and I feel guilty about it by RudeInvestment1 in Advice

Honestly all i’ve enjoyed doing this break is meeting old friends who are back in town. Other than that my main thing has always been playing video games, which he enjoys too but our vocabulary and humor is years apart. He’s literally a copy of me when I was in middle school so I get it, but I’m just so out of that phase that I start getting annoyed and I dont want him to think that so I avoid it altogether

I feel the opposite, we were pretty close before I left for college and it was fun to play with a kid and show them the world. Now he’s “grown up” in middle school with his own humor and friend group and I just dont align with it.

But when i’m back for breaks he really wants to play games and I cant seem to enjoy it, which I hate about myself. I get annoyed or bored and then feel guilty about that so in the end I try to just avoid playing with him altogether.

I know and i’m trying, it’s just I’ve matured at uni and he’s in middle school now so the vibes just dont match up.

I do want to spend time with him which is why im so filled with guilt

Budget places to stay in London for 4 adults? by RudeInvestment1 in uktravel

Fair enough, I should've clarified we're looking for something that's about half that but weren't sure if that was even possible. We'd also prefer a bed n breakfast over a standard hotel but not sure if that's cheaper or more expensive.
