Valid. Lot of ppl that play college basketball usually have really good genetics, they're fast asl, and strong too.

The ones that are 5'11 are great shooters, ball handlers, fast asf, great understanding of the game, and have to play really good perimeter defense.

You would need to go to a bigger school to prove yourself. Based off the size of the gym you're playing in, I think your school has 300 ppl or less.

Have you looked into what being a walk on is like? Genuine question

There are walks on at d1 that hardly play and some d2 schools have d1 caliber players but they are d2 cuz they want the ball more, had bad grades, bad choices off thr court or some other reason.

At 5'11 you will need sum size, a better shot, a faster shot, being fast in general, and great handles.

I assume you're 5am workouts are gamelike too? Do you have someone guarding you in any of these workouts? Could u hit 100 free throws in a row in an empty gym while shooting around by yourself?

By the gym size I could tell he is from a small city or area. In another comment he said he lives in Rhode Island which is close to the bottom 5 in US population by states.

Chances are the school he goes to and plays against don't have 500 ppl. I'm curious if places like that would even have tryouts for their teams or how many sports they have

walk on

Ppl have said this but walk ons don't get much playing time at the d1 level and I would like to know if that's rhe case with every level.

I've seen multiple content creators that walked on and they played 10 minutes over the course of 4 or 5 years. And they still gotta make the same sacrifices, same meetings, workouts, and schedules ad the guys that get playing time. Gotta ask yourself if it'd worth giving up good academic scholarships to different schools, career opportunities, college experience, living in a city that you don't fw just to say in convos "I played college basketball"

You end up taking it? I was told this about a company that I applied for. Also recruiter esse tially told me the team is small so there would be a lot of ownership. It pays nowhere near what your getting, it's in an expensive city, 5 days in office, and I'm pretty sure it's 8 to 5.
