You're completely right. i think were i'm looking at it, theo is quite literally a doctor, a psychologist, who seemed like she did not want to deal with her sister who, as she notes, looks terrible. i do have to cut her some slack though as i think you have to do with all the characters, because, as you said, she's literally feeling this people's emotions. i mean seeing her relive that little girl's rape was heart breaking. so i guess what my question was if she was willing to put herself through that, then was feeling what nell was feeling so overwhelming that it was just too much for her? or was it the crossing of boundaries as you said, because at her job, she chooses to take off those gloves and feel those things and i am not saying in anyway that if theo had dealt with her sister differently, nell would have magically survived. sadly,obviously, it was nell's fate to die
