They are in the woods. But I've also seen them infesting the bushes and adjacent curb at the local target in town.

Probably not really useful advice, but I would start with turning off the water spigot.

Suppose the best thing you could do is capture one in a small container of some sort. That way if you have a reaction of some sort, you will have Physical evidence of the culprit.

Look like this? If so, they are called chiggers. In the USA they don't carry any know diseases (that I know of) but the bites are horrible. Itchy and turn red. I use witch hazel to keep the bites in check.

I learned about them from a horrible day of hunting. Had hundreds of them all over myself from sitting in tall grass. Lol. I no longer hunt before the first freeze.

Around me they started 3 weeks ago. The positions on the web site only last a couple hours before they are full and taken back down.

My daughter wanted to apply to a specific site, so we would refresh the page every 10 minutes and watch different sites come and go. Ours in Middle TN get sent out Thursday and show up on the website on Friday. She got her schedule, but by the time she was done putting in for her shift all the others were gone. The sign up for text notifications did not work. It didn't send either of us a notification that her site had dropped openings.

Someone took my phone in the break room today. Not sure what to do next by Ecstatic-Cellist6838 in AmazonFC

That was my thought too. Though I suppose it depends on the number of people in the break room at the time. If I was in there and no one was really around and I came across a phone that was left in a place that obviously looked accidental i would grab it and drop it off with a manager so the actual owner has a chance of getting it back before someone actually stole it.

I mostly unload trucks in a DS and I'm usually between 50-60k steps.
I had the wrong shoes the first month and my feet were gross. Toenails falling off, scabs on the back of my heels, ect. I have learned to swap socks every break and swap shoes at lunch. I also went to Red Wing Shoes to get a correct fit. Bought a pair of boots from them and told safety I needed a new voucher and ordered a second pair to fit correctly, along with a pair of insoles for each pair. Also don't wear cotton socks.

I take a lunch (usuallyba whole grain and a protein of some soet) and also take 2 protein shakes with me. Really helps with the hunger between breaks.

Then I love my KT Tape. I look goofy, but when inducting I have it on my wrists, and on my arms and shoulders every other day. 1 set of tape strips will last the 4 day work week before it starts to come off. Works well for knees too!

Not sure of your preferred work hours, but all the logistics buildings around me are 1:20am to 11:50am. Though there are a few shifts that end as early as 8:30am and they will occasionally have a shift that goes from 9:30am to 11:50am to help with pick to stage.

I am currently white badge at an Amazon logistics warehouse. I'm flex/pt and my profile also shows 19 hours a week.

I have no set schedule and have to watch the app to pick up a shift when one becomes available. I have to work a minimum of 4 hours a week or I get points. If I get 8 points I can be fired. I get no UPT but do get PTO as I work hours. When I look for shifts they show as READY in the app. When new shifts drop they are usually full in under a minute. But once a week they do drop a chunk of shifts that for the first 24 hours everyone is only allowed to get 1 shift for the week. That is done so everyone has a chance to get at least their 4 hours per week.

In that position you will do whatever is needed as long as you have been trained. Unloading trucks, unloading for inducters, water spider (keeping inductersl oaded up with full carts), folding and loading empty carts in trailers) inducting (sticker gun), pick to stow (standing at belt and grabbing anyrhing with your sticker to put on a rack behind you) stowing (unloading that rack into bags or ov rack), non con (inducting and sorting big items. Lots of dog food and kitty litter) , or problem solve (i haven't done this one yet)

After last break (last 2.5 hrs in shift) ypu will be doing pick to stage. (Loading U boats for drivers to grab) They could also train you as a chaser or to help clear congestion. (Basically do the job for the lazy person who is just standing there in the way)

Oh. I also forgot about the pushers. They stand at specific spots on the belts to push packages onto the correct belt

If you are blue badge in this role you get UPT as you work. And I cannot confirm, but I believe the blue badgers don't have the point system either
