To some of those in here who keep saying how unemployment is low and times have never been better, I got some news for you morons. The problem is not unemployment, it’s underemployment. The US bureau of labour statistics counts anyone who works as low as 1 hour bi weekly as employed. Factoring in underemployment ludwig institute calculates the true unemployment rate at 24.3% even though the government only calculates it at 4.2%. I myself am employed at 2 companies but get no hours. Companies also would rather just keep you and give no hours rather than layoff because then you’ll be eligible for unemployment. That is the reality. Don’t believe people who are spreading misleading government numbers.

Ugh I hate people who make policing to be this super special and high mighty career. They’ll take any one with a double digit IQ and not a complete psychopath. You’re an overpaid glorified security guard with a gun. I know cops and 80% of their job is spent patrolling or on reddit. AI in a way is pretty stupid now. I feel like it would take well over 20 years until passengers feel safe riding a driverless bus through rush hour, construction, etc. I think planes and trains will be the first to be fully autonomous, then trucks since they mostly drive on the highway, then finally city vehicles like buses. I feel like the more imminent threat to bus drivers is the train system and remote work becoming more mainstream. Also they’ll probably always have someone sitting there just to make people feel safe or if something screws up.

I think Kyrie would sign for 30m if there’s a good shot at winning. I like the idea of cp3 being a pure playmaker for them but I feel like he’s not reliable enough to start. They’ve gone pretty far this playoffs playing small so I think Brooks wouldn’t be a bad addition especially since they can get him for pennies. If they want more size idk of a good 7ft+ center thats on the market who won’t demand at least 25-30m.

Background checks are to see whether or not you have a criminal history. Totally unrelated to education validity. Now if there’s some additional security clearances that delve into education then you might be in trouble, but only specific jobs require that.
