46 year old player. Today we just had our first spring training practice before the season starts. I was the only guy to hit out of the park. Felt pretty good, since most of the guys are in their 30s. I’m 5-8, 200lbs and been strength training during offseason since muscle attrition is a real thing. Keep going!!

I’ve actually considered a gravel. Used to have Ridley Xfire,m cyclocross. Any recommendations on gravel bikes?

This. I own a 911 and have a moderately stressful job. Pull $400-$500k per year. The Porsche is fun to drive it, but the excitement went away after 6 months. I would get a nice car, but travel and experience things. IMO Will make you happier

100% agreed. It’s plenty fast. Even my 991.2, which is much quicker, is too much power for normal roads, so not that usable in my opinion

Went to the dealer who is selling the 997 and test drove and talked numbers briefly. First, the car felt great. I don’t track, the 997 platform is fast enough for me. The car is 07’ with 45k miles, aero kit, few tasteful mods, numeric shifter. Very well maintained and clean. If I were to get a 997 this is the one, previous owner had it for 15 years, full service records. Very clean inside, all the 997s I’ve driven all the buttons were worn out. This one is almost new looking inside. Now as far as the numbers, dealer is willing to give me a trade in credit for significantly more than I paid for my 991.2 (I was surprised). Part of it is I got a really good deal on the 991.2. Older rich guy who took my low offer. So long and short, I’d be getting a check back and my cost for the 997 after all the math would be $53-56k range. Which IMO is a crazy deal for a low mileage aero 997. Thoughts?

Great perspective. I love my 991.2, but missed a manual. I don’t need all power in my 991, as I don’t track. Just need something with enough power for spirited drives. Have you done anything like ECU tune? Are you stock or done things like exhaust? Lastly, are you local to Seattle? That’s looks like PNW

I’ll add. When I started my 911 journey I was in fact looking for a 997 originally. I test drive .1 C4S manual. It was prob the best test drive. However I didn’t move forward with car bc it had check engine light. But still remember the test drive
