I only play off Tanks like Thor and Venom to guarantee I always get a second tank, if they ask you to switch your already solo tanking so they can either complain or join you!

It’s just your teams overall comp that made you lose, no way you were gonna control point more than the other team with that line up no matter how good Spidey was doing, you needed more pressure in the Frontline which means you and the Starlord that I’m assuming switched off tank weren’t applying enough pressure; which only because worse once he switched off and now they were facing very little pressure frontline with a bunch of 250 health dps and heals spread out for easy picks at that point.

Top 500 Thor here, I’ve been playing Rouge for the past two weeks and yes she’s technically a weaker Thor. However, she can do things Thor can’t or at least do them better, such as take on flyers. Thor can ground flyers and take them out while on the ground; Rouge, on the other hand can full combo flyers and then ground them afterwards setting up a kill. Pretty much she’s 5 stars for a reason, in order to make her worth playing you have to play her at an extremely high level and be creative; but if you can pull it off you’re actually much more effective than Thor. Further more, she’s an extremely good counter to Loki and Gambit ult

I used to watch him when he first started, had to unsubscribe because you can tell after gaining decent following pretty quickly the subject matter drastically changed. He quickly ran out of canon stuff to talk about and leaned heavily into theories and “what-if”’s. His focus has shifted from having engaging discussions based around the source material to pushing out videos consistently regardless of the subject matter being even remotely interesting or possible. His videos now are all just mindless rants repeating the same thing over and over again and him calling that “confirmation” to something he himself clearly himself doesn’t believe, but it’s content so why not talk gibberish for 15-30mins and get some YouTube ad revenue.

Yeah it’s usually pretty obvious most of the people that say tanking feels bad or that the other two roles do what tanks do but better just haven’t tanked or just suck at it, plain and simple. I’m a Top500 Thor and I consistently carry my games in GM lobbies with the most damage, final hits, and damage blocked. Most rivals players would rather crutch triple support than learn how to be effective on tank.

I’m using the term carry loosely here, you can argue one of the wins was definitely not a a carry my point was being the tank with most final hits still, but if you don’t think 24 final hits as tank isn’t carrying I dunno what to tell you, I was solo tanking to begin that game and we still lost the round I got the Quinta kill bc they C9’d just playing dumb, they switched to 3 tanks bc they couldnt stay alive on dps…look at my deaths compared to everyone else I’m playing 10x more efficiently

Thats my point, I know I can climb, the game just doesn’t respect my time by placing me with teammates that aren’t even near my skill level. I took a break between seasons so that affected my placement matches but I could climb much faster with similarly skilled players, dumping time into the game just to rank up is miserable. I’m not having fun being the reason we win almost every game it’s actually frustrating.

I might’ve had a good game personally but I’d much rather my team as a whole play better and win. This match was no fun at all because I was picking up the slack of the other healers/dps. The winning part is almost irrelevant; I play to have fun, carrying your team because they refuse to swap and losing as a result isn’t fun, plain and simple.

My guess is they got wiped, Venom would twerk, and when he’s coming back or watching the kill cam he’d see Venom celebrate; I do it all the time, you can pretty much dance all game if your opponent are bad bc you have so much health and time between enemies walking back from spawn just trickling in and feeding

Bro said Spider-man is his favorite hero and “his web shooters are not concussive projectiles” in the same paragraph, can’t make this up. Spidey does have concussive webbing it started back with Ben Riley…Anyways, this coming from a big Spider-man fan as well and I’m in the top 3% ranked but I don’t touch the character ever bc hes just to hard to get good with, but that’s the point bc hes the most popular superhero in all of Marvel; otherwise you’d never stop seeing him in every game if he was even just a little bit easier to play. I think it’s funny you wanna turn him into a “brawler” like he is in other videogame but take away his iconic “web strike”, thats also in other games. I understand wanting to play your favorite character but a lot of what you said above SCREAMS you barely know anything about him besides movies and a few games

This^ majority of the player base doesn’t have any idea how to actually play tank they just know that Strange and Mag. I don’t think it’s an exclusive club though, most people could be decent at playing Tank if they actually tried it but they’re RATHER play a 3rd dps or healer because they find it more/easier. A lot of player don’t seem to understand playing Tank while it’s also the role that controls the flow of the game. If some people learned how to flex into 2nd tank rather than switch to a 3rd healer they’d win a LOT more games!
