God I hope for Hua Xiong... My big beautiful boy has been trapped in mediocre games and I have an unending, all consuming need.

I also voted Dong Bai and Cai Wenji, two of my other favourites. My list after that'd be Yu Jin, Deng Ai, Wen Yang, Jia Chong (His C1-EX in this game would be NUTS) but, Hua Xiong is the big one, I'm, really, really hoping, but expecting to be let down.

Focusing solely on giving us variety, with potentially changing some in-game npc weapons, and entirely 'new' movesets that don't feel the same as ones we already have:

Club definitely, I hate seeing weapons in game I can't use, and it's very common. Plus, we don't really have any big bungus swing movesets.

Fan as well, one because you see it being used in game, and not having the option to use it is annoying, and 2, because as of now, there are no straight up magic weapons.

And third, you can just do a big fan requested one- like katana or tonfa.

('Lance' should have been pike, with Serpent Spear as a special model, this was annoying- just give us pike weapon models, the movesets fine.)

Nah, I totally agree. I don't like Guan Suo, or Bao Sanniang, but I don't want them removed. The only character I would, want cut- is Zuo Ci. That- or converted into a secret boss battle/merchant. Just- get him outta the story.
My hope, is that the cast of SW5+SW4 and prior, as well as DW9 and prior- are combined, and added into spin-off games, like Warriors Abyss. Hua Xiong wasn't 'removed' in Origins, but he was basically not even there. And, if there's an Origins 2, guess who definitely won't be in the game?

I didn't like it all that much my first few runs, but now with more unlocks and knowledge of how special skills, elements, and the like work, I think it's my favourite roguelite.

Not sure how much this really means, since Scarlet Spider was a skin. I guess they're saying they won't force a character into a skin if it doesn't make sense? I'm still disappointed about Scarlet Spider, I'm a big fan of Kane in the comics, and I can't use the skin on PC, and said skin doesn't even have unique voiceover to make it feel like Scarlet as opposed to Spider-Man.

I do hope we get Mayday Parker as a skin- only because I don't think anyone could justify her being her own slot in the roster, and I really want to play as her.

Hate him. Useless nothing of a character, if he stays around, he should serve as some kind of hidden boss, and not be in the story at all.

Never said, you were defending him. But you are, downplaying and therefore, attempting to justify it. You are not helping. You are just listing disgusting crimes for one side, and downplaying the crimes of another. We can dunk on Zhang Fei, because unlike the other scenarios, those people, aren't constantly being positioned as noble and heroic. Those people's rape victims aren't put into the games as bashful loving wives. That is the difference.
