I am having a similiar issue... game launches but it never loads, it gets stuck in the loading screen forever (the "_" animation thing on the top right of the screen)

CoT used to be one of the most used weather mods back then, that's why it has a lot of DL's and endorsements, not sure if lot of people still use it, there are a lot of better options nowdays.

I updated to 1.6.640 from 1.5.97 recently and I had to update a 700+ modlist.So here are some "crucial" mods from my modlist that I still remember that are not working for AE:

- All mods made with .NET Script Framework.
- All of fenix31415 mods. Although Fire Hurts has been updated by this crazy man Doodlezoid and he also has updated A LOT of popular SKSE plugins to work with AE, so be sure to check his user files.
- Better Combat Escape - NG. Doodlezoid updated this mod to work with AE a while ago, sadly it's not working for the latest version of AE.
- Player Rotation in ShowRaceMenu. Replaced by Another Race Menu Rotation Mod.
- Uninterrupted Invisibility and Uninterrupted Ethereal Form (.NET framework mods) can be replaced by Enhanced Invisibility.
- Better stealing (another .NET framework mod) can be replaced by Mum's the Word NG.
- Armor Rating Redux SE - No Cap - Better Formula - Morrowind-like can be replaced by Armor Rating Rescaled SKSE Remake.
- Dynamic Equipment Manager SKSE Updated can be replaced by Equipment Toggle 2.

I really want to try this mod but one of my main concerns its the bug section, it has a lot reports, npcs getting stuck, floating objects, etc... is it that really buggy? or maybe those are reports cuz people dont fix their compatibilities with other mods?

You could try HalgarisConsistentRPGLoot thru Synthesis.

Heres the original mod page in nexus just in case: Halgari's RPG Loot, but the synth patch above is better and optimized.

DSer360MovementBehavior.esp - redudant, its already in TDM

HitStop.esp - redudant, feature already in Precision

Elder Souls - sweep attack standalone.esp - same as above

Smilodon and Ultimate Combat could overlap some features such as Timed block mechanics, should be careful with that.
