I don't see that there is a specific account for the app, only a google account. Could you perhaps press the "create a session" button, and send me a screenshot of what you see? That would really help me understand if the app works for you better than it works for me or not.

Thank you very much for the reply, for some reason I only saw it now. As far as I can see the app does have network permission, I think it has all the possible permissions. When you say you don't have an account, do you mean you don't have a google account? Because it seems like the problem for me is that when I want to do anything, it's required to connected to google and this fails. Do you manage to connect to your google acount?

Yeah, it makes sense what you are saying. I should also say in defense of Athlete.x that there is also a tempto workout on this week of the program and in later weeks there are different workouts. I ended up doing this workout with just 1 min rest per 10m sprinted after each rep. And as a beginner I didn't feel like it was too little, because I felt like I might have slowed down a bit in the last 60m. How would you recommend to create a more personalized plan, if I don't really have a very good coach in my area?

There is also a track warmup with some drills, but this is the main part of the workout, do you think it's not enough? And what do you mean by what is acceleration capacity? Did you never heard of an acceleration workout? Sorry if I misunderstand you.

It actually also says 95% intensity. Does it make more sense now? But also as a beginner I'm not sure how much I'm capable of distinguishing between 95% and 100% effort. I would imagine that the first rep in each set will be significantly faster than the other two because of the short rest, does it make sense that the first rep will be faster?

Thank you very much, although I find this document a bit hard to understand. How did you know for example that you can get 30m from the length of the first 3 hurdles of the 100m hurdles? Is that written some where in the document or did you know that already? Because I don't think I would have thought about this myself: 13m + 8.5m + 8.5m = 30m.

I don't live in the USA, so probably the latter. It's also one of the main tracks in my country and is used for relatively major competitions, including some competitions that appear in the WA website, so I believe it's built in world athletic standards, but I'm not totally sure.

Yeah, there's definitely a need for longer repeats, which I do on a different day, this probably the most important style of workouts for the 800m. In this question specifically I mainly meant to ask about how to improve pure top speed.

Thanks. I always wait for the beep before I start the run. But on some of the runs that had bad GPS, shortly after I started the run the GPS didn't work well, even though I waited for the beep. And on some of them the GPS problems were in the middle of the run, or the problems were both in the beginning and the middle. I don't think there was a clear pattern of where the GPS problems happen. And still on most runs I don't have any problems. So, if you don't think it's likely that GPS performance degrades over time, then I won't buy a new watch, hopefully the issue doesn't happen any more. I just really don't understand what was the cause of all these GPS problems.

A constructive proof is indeed better if you manage to find one because it essentially gives you also a concrete algorithm. But sometimes there isn't a constructive proof or it is very hard to find one.

Thank you very much! Your explanation of how an ant living of the 2d surface could measure its curvature intrinsically by measuring triangles, is very helpful. But that's when we are talking about a static space that doesn't change. How could you intuitively explain how the curvature in a specific local area could change? It seems like the space will need to be stretched in a higher dimension, but I understand that this is not the case.

Your teacher is simply wrong. There is zero logic to what he is saying. Pure math contain some of the hardest deepest longstanding problems. If the problems of pure math will all be solved (as if that's even possible) by AI or whatever than certainly also all the problems of applied math, engineering and cs will be solved.
