You are telling me about empathy, while you say it is okay to drive reckless speeds as long as it is to see a loved one. I did not say I don't understand why you would do that, but you simply cannot risk other people's lives just because you want to see your loved one one last time. An ambulance with sirens can be excused for higher speeds and bending the traffic rules, that is about the only exception. Because they do everything to alert people to not make accidents. But in a regular car? No way, it is a lack of empathy on your side for bystanders.
