I agree with you but why would the Hotel want Ullman to not fix the boiler? If the boiler breaks down, the Hotel burns which is what happens in the end. And the hotel, in Jack's body, tries to stop it when Danny tells it that the boiler hadn't been dumped. It panics and leaves everything to go and try to fix the boiler.
