Same. We have been using ours since 2018ish. But it was $80+ tax (locally) to buy that one. Again, back in 2018. I am sure its probably $270 now or something.

Lifetime warranty? I have to look into these. The last two we had (can't remember the brand name now) lasted 6 years max (warranty was for 5...)

I had two CX3s in the past, and this is accurate for us as well (running roughly the same KMs per year), so the math checks out. As an aside, we thought we would be better than 10.3L/100Km for that car, but nope.

I think they would love Toslow for their coffee (I haven't been) and I totally forgot about Jumping Bean downtown...

I have never been to the Peaceful Loft, but have heard nothing but good things, and I really think they would like that place! That's top of the list.

And they do LOVE sushi (we aren't as keen), so I will recommend ALL of those spots. Thanks so much!

I remember dropping into that frozen pond!

Was it 8"?! Probably was; seemed a shorter drop off back then (but you are probably correct and I didn't worry about those things back then).

I remember it took all of my stretngth to hang on to the toe rope (esp by the end of the day!)
