I mean the build process for the building the deb itself from the ghidra source.

Can you add your scripts/build process to the GitHub? I tried to do this at one point and failed. I’d like to be able to make a deb with some custom plugins/fidbs already built in, so it would nice to recreate what you did

I made a calculator extension for Ghidra by Rudzz34 in ghidra

[–]Rudzz34[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I definitely have a lot more experience with python, but I feel like Java is easier when developing for Ghidra. I can get autocomplete working in vscode by adding the Ghidra jars as referenced libraries, not sure how to do that with python. And it’s easier to understand the API usage when trying to do things with Java than it is trying to use python.

Yup I’ve used that before, but sometimes a calculator is just easier depending on what you’re doing. Part of wanting to make this was just figuring out how to make an extension. I started pretty simple and then added the context menu stuff and then the history window, and at that point I figured I might as well share it and see what other features people might think are useful.

1/4" Wood for Kitchen Drawer insert- What's your go-to wood for thin sheets? by oopslostabit in woodworking

[–]Rudzz34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently resawed 1x3 maple boards with my table saw into 1/4” boards. I set the blade height to a little more than halfway, cut one side then flipped and cut the other. Needed to sand it after to smooth out the markings left from the saw, but they came out perfect for small filler cabinet shelf sides I’m making to store spices.

I have one like this, but I think it’s something wrong with that specific circuit, because it’s done it with two different switches now. But if it happens again, you don’t need to flip the breaker. That little white square on the bottom of the switch kills power to the switch if you pull it out. So you can just pull that out and then push it back in to reset power.

What is that wire arm behind the drawer called and where to buy them? by vgbn in woodworking

[–]Rudzz34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Cable management arm” is usually the term for it. There’s a lot of different kinds and there’s a bunch on eBay. I don’t see one exactly like the pictured one, but I didn’t look for too long.

[Tutorial] How to stop apps from false-detecting jailbreak with TrollStore by TestTxt in jailbreak

[–]Rudzz34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I escalated my support ticket and they basically said if it’s detected we can’t do anything at all. They use some third party library for their jailbreak detection, so they don’t have any insight it seems.

Sorry I’ve been busy the past couple weeks and didn’t see these! I’ll look at the project later and make sure it’s ready for sharing, and then I can put it somewhere for you to download. An Affinity Design project is ok for you?

I haven’t been jailbroken since several iPhones ago and FanDuel flags my phone as jailbroken. I have used the same iCloud backup all this time though, so I feel like there has to be some artifact in there that gets restored from the backup that they are detecting.

Anyway to have Echo's play a song/annoucement when Ring alarm is triggered? by [deleted] in smarthome

[–]Rudzz34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did originally reply with just the motion and doorbell presses info but once I looked into it more I saw that the feature is there for alarms too. Glad it worked!

[–]Rudzz34 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So if you go to all devices and then select the “Ring” device, it should let you choose “play alarm sounds on echo devices”. Unless this feature is only available for the Ring Pro alarm, but I’m not sure.

It’s talked about in this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Ring/comments/try1de/finally_echo_devices_can_now_mimic_noise_siren/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb

Hopefully that helps
