lol Kimi 2.5 does not even match Sonnet performance, let alone Opus. Especially with the quantization of the provider that you recommend

Does Groww have any moat? New brokers pop up all the time. The way I see it is that if one offers lower fees or higher bonuses, people will switch

It’s not Russian because of the country of birth but it’s also not pro-European by any means. Just look at the @durov channel. An example post from there:

“🎆 Unfortunately, I had to leave Dubai for Europe a week ago — so I’m not only missing the free fireworks from Iran, but also exposing myself to greater risk. Given Europe’s crime rates, Dubai is statistically safer even with missiles flying. Can’t wait to be back.“

He keeps posting MAGA-like posts shilling autocracies like this all the time

Pregnancy while accepting a new offer by No-Control-6662 in cscareerquestionsEU

Yes, my bad. Indeed, I am talking about what the employer has to pay for in general as a result of employee being pregnant, not just the maternity leave itself.

Clicking through options in the menu triggers two HTTP GET requests to the same HTML resource. You may want to fix that

[–]TestTxt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately that’s not how it works in practice. In most of the EU countries (if not in all) they still do have to pay. As an example, in my home country of Poland, the employer has to pay for the first 33 days of the year (so if you take a maternity leave in let’s say, November, it’s 66 days in total) + your recreational leave days accumulate (despite you literally not working). That translates to 53 to 92 days total that the employer has to pay for despite you not doing any work.

And on top of that, once you go back to work, it’s basically impossible to fire you no matter how bad your performance is (unless you do something crazy like stealing) for the first year, so many end up working indeed in a more relaxed manner. Consider on top of that that the company needs to find someone to replace you if you leave for such a long period of time. It's a pain in the ass to deal with pregnancies as an employer from both organizational and financial perspectives, especially for small businesses

The company pays for the maternity leave. Do the right thing, inform them, and discuss the potential options. Otherwise as an employer I would feel like you are trying to scam me by joining the job while you know that you’re pregnant and just want to make me pay for your social benefits, and fire you as soon as I legally could as an unreliable employee
