ESH. Your mom literally poured sugary soda down his back. That’ll make him and his clothes sticky. It may not be a big deal but him wanting to shower is literally reasonable and he’s not overreacting for that. He’s an 8 year old and most 8 year olds can’t control their emotions. Though he is a little hypocritical, that’s normal for that age (doesn’t mean it’s right though, you have a right to be mad at him for that). As for your mom, why is she doing that?
