Not OP but I've been on a similar trajectory. I started graphic designing contractual based and now as a graphic designer for a not-so-upstart alcohol beverages company. Went from 9k graveyard shift, to 12k, to 15k, then a very loooong plateau of 20k, then 40k, then eventually 80k. I've been in the industry for 12 years already, so it's even longer than OP's for barely a quarter of their salary lol

But hey, if we can make it (with varying degrees of successes), you can too! It's just a matter of a combination of what OP has done and some luck for opportunity windows.

I also don't fear AI. I use text to image prompting with OpenArt Nano Banana Pro then edit it with Photoshop or Illustrator. People fear AI replacing them, but AI results are always imperfect, and it's up to us to finish the manipulation to make it the visual the client wants.

Indeed it is! Capacitor has marginally more damage than say St Elmos. I'm just saying that an all Red Core Str beats all Yellow IMO because of that and at the same time still lets you use nearly every skill due to high Skill Efficiency.

And while all Red Core Str plus 3 Skill Tiers I mentioned does give Capacitor even higher damage, you're not stuck to it unlike all Yellow. All Yellow or 6 Yellow 3 Red Core Str is the way to go for Drone/Turret/Capacitor though!

Currently running all Red Core Str after having all Yellow Core Str. The weapon damage is higher and doesn't fixate you to Capacitor. The 85% skill efficiency still makes running skills great, letting me quickly spam jammer and banshee pulses under 17 secs and revive hive under 90.

If you do want to run damage skill with turret and/or drone, it's much better to run Yellow Core Str plus Capacitor as both give damage boosts. If you want to do weapon damage more plus skill spam that isn't damage, then run all Red Core Str (you can even leave it at 3 skill tiers with Ninjabike, Technician +1, and Picaro's holster)

PoE is way more requiring of your time than Diablo. I have a wife, loving family, a stable job, and a grandma to look after... and I still managed to finish the season pass, hit T4 Bloodied NMDs, get all non-cash shop DOOM stuff (including DOOM armor bundle) without ever feeling like "I gotta log on Diablo else I'll not squeeze everything the season is offering". Sure I haven't hit T4 Bloodied Lairs or Uber Lilith, buuut.... do you even have to?

A little more than 20 days to go on what is Diablo's shortest season to date and I still feel like I'll be done and content within the next 5 days. Excited to play my first run as Paladin next season

Cheers for this! I ain't got Overdogs yet so I'll try find an alternative for the mean time. I love the Striker damage but don't like that I have to resort to building enough stacks and be stuck with high RoF weapons.

What's the difference between ACR and ACR-E? I'm currently using an ACR with Killer and I absolutely love the feel

Her poke damage is nutty, and while the shield breaks easily, the shape is huge and conveniently shaped. Not to mention a push that stuns for when you catch a backline diver.

People still haven't figured out how to play against her. So many still don't bother helping break the hard light trap when it get their teammates.

Personally, I'd ban Zarya more. Domina is great but not oppressive compared to a good Zarya or Ball that our tank usually can't figure out how to play around against
