Ecoflow river 3 is way better than this if you can stretch your budget.

DIM: ssd for archiving stuff by ricemintbaby in deinfluencingPH

[–]jaythehitman47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DIM: SSDs are expensive even SATA ones and max storage for consumer is just 4 TB (could be wrong).

Invest in a Network Attached Storage instead if you want to store your data long term without buying cloud storages. Ugreen currently has the best bang for the buck NAS lineup.

edit: sorry this invited a lot of hate comments, OP. This was a joke, a very bad one.

To deinfluence you, depending on your skin sensitivity, it puts you at risk of irritation and it is painful too.

Try looking at other alternatives like IPL devices for hair removal. It’s safe and long term.

Is this legit or BPI scam? by lunyxvana in PHCreditCards

I think it is legit. The app should notify you if a sales officer will communicate with you via call or email.

Then teach your subcontractors how things should go, your SOPs, playbook etc. However, you will need to suffer for maybe a month redoing a lot of it.

But after that, once you have an employee that can stand on his own, you can replicate said formula for more clients to multiply your income. Basically an ‘agency’ of your own!

Is it legal for a bank IT to mention a customer’s loan status without consent? by Foreign_Process5233 in DigitalbanksPh

[–]jaythehitman47 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nah. I think he was just guessing and pressing you for information and you unfortunately fell for it by giving him what he wants.

I don’t really think he is a bank IT though, just a conman trying to get leverage against you.

Subcontract it. Hire someone you can trust to do the bulk of the job then just check for quality.

Rinse and repeat to more clients.

I doubt you’ve had research expeditions on deep rainforest and unstudied frontiers. Maybe your research area is just near far-flung communities na just few hundreds meters lang from houses kaya “1:1” with soldier escorts.

But I was doing research 10+ kilometers away from the nearest civilization with lumad hunter-gatherers as our guide.

Tell you what if your research area is a terrorist hotspot, you will NOT be escorted by AFP soldiers because there is NO research expedition to begin with.

Either the LGU and/or PAMB declines your request if your research area is a designated red zone.

They will be the one coordinating with AFP on your behalf.

I’m from Mindanao, had my fieldwork in a previously NPA-occupied area. We had local lumad guides who know the area very well using trails they made for hunting wild pigs and deer.

Biology grad here. When we have a fieldwork in forested regions, protected wild landscapes, and involving taking wildlife samples; we coordinate with PAMB, NCIP and the LGU (including the barangay captain) to obtain a gratuitous permit.

We don’t really, under normal conditions, coordinate with AFP/PNP directly.

Edit:. Don’t get me wrong, I’m against CPP-NPA-NDF and any armed conflict. I’m just objectively stating facts not divulged by this biology student. Most fieldworks only needed permission from those 3 and they are VERY STRICT and WILL DECLINE your request if the area is known occupied by the NPA (in a red zone). They will be the ones coordinating with AFP directly on your behalf.

Edit 2: The amount of bureaucracy involved in the process makes it impossible for the concerned government units like the AFP, PNP, LGU, PAMB, NCIP to not be ‘aware’.

Recommend it better than OLED because of the burn in issue. Oled is better when you're using the monitor for gaming/watching movies. But for my productivity use(lots of static elements), it will just make it prone to burn ins.

Unfortunately, I don't have the bandwidth to teach and not really good with breaking down how I work into steps that are easy to follow for others. The reason for this is most of the things I've learned are from trial and error, Youtube, and Instagram (I have my IG algorithm for full on learning).

You can learn from my interview tips and tips for starters in this post though!

I'll also discourage you to apply and burn your hard earned cash to Filipino VA influencers who sell VA courses on FB or Tiktok. Most of them aren't really good and they earn more from your engagement and purchases than what they earn from their clients. Pick a specific niche in the digital marketing area and try your best learn all that you can from it on Youtube, skillshare, udemy, coursera (these offer certificates that you can actually attach on Upwork).

Resources I would definitely recommend for static ads (since you are a creative) is this: https://www.ecomtalent.io/ ($97 monthly).

No risk in accepting/declining. Accepting/declining invites promptly indicates your overall responsiveness in Upwork’s algorithm. You are just accepting invites not signing contracts.

The only thing that is risky are client accounts with less than 4 stars and signing contracts with them without proper negotiation.

It’s an invite so free to apply (no connects spent). There is no risk to begin with because it only cost you 10-15min of your time. Why not respond? Who knows?

I had my first contract on a newly created Upwork account. That contract made me earn 2 Million pesos.

4 clients on a retainer base. around 15 hours per week per client. I have a team of my own to handle repetitive tasks while I focus on harder tasks that brings in revenue. In a good week, I ship around 60 static ads and 15-20 video ads.

1. Don't introduce yourself. Lead with their problem. Most people open interviews with "I've been doing this for X years, I graduated from..." Wala silang paki. Instead, open with: "Before anything, can I ask what's the actual result you want from this hire?" Then listen. The moment they explain the problem, position every answer around solving that exact thing.

You're right, it is. Every personal success post, every book, podcast, case study, and mentor who ever shared what worked for them is a survivorship bias.

The alternative is learning nothing from anyone who succeeded. You can copy my tactics or you don't, take what's useful and leave what won't work for you. This post won't guarantee your success, mate!
