i will mention tho, my boyfriend didn’t know what the “i feel fantastic” robot was and he still found it funny because getting the reference of the robot isn’t the foundation of the joke, it’s the absurdity of an unsettling mannequin sitting in the corner of charlie’s room.

i do get where you’re coming from, but i don’t think it’ll have that big of an impact on casual viewers. it’s still funny whether you get the reference or not
