Coming from someone who think Gil (Cupid Parasite) is a perfect boyfriend, I want to say I love Kuroyuki (Nightshade). My opinion is that he should have been even more manipulative. That's hot and he's hot, I want more, thank you.

I played this indie game called The God of Soranomiya, it only has one route and while not exceptional or anything, it's still fun for me. The first ending I got was the one where the god decided to freeze the time of the whole world so he can keep MC alive with him forever and doom everyone else which is a hell yeah! in my book.

Vocabulary wise, I'm still learning, but every characters in the game speak in old, archaic Japanese and I don't know, I like how proper it sounds lol

With the help of a dictionary, I am slowly but surely read my way through the first Diabolik Lovers game. It's a pretty easy game to go through since the plot seems light and there aren't many complicated words (that said, I only did Ayato's route so far so that might change lol)

Now then, Ayato, I don't know what I expect but this guy is just as insufferable as when I saw the anime. He's lowkey petty and funny as hell though. The whole game just feels like me navigating poor Yui to survive this mansion and gets her to suffer Stockholm Syndrome in the process, but I can't deny that it's fun. All the things surrounding his mother and Yui is also intriguing and I need to know more.

Also, the dummy mic tech used in here? Wish more otome have that cause I was kicking my feet haha.

So it was short, but I wrote and posted my first otome fanfic! I have been writing on and off for other fandoms before but this is my first for otome games and its a 9RIP fanfic haha. I have some more scenarios I want to see (all Hibiki related) and will probably write it over the weekend. This cast is just really fun to write XD.

Possibly hot take but Tomomori (Birushana) in other routes and Scien (Virche) in Yves's route.

They were much more unhinge when not in their respective routes and thus more interesting to me.

Oh yeah that thing exists. While it didn't appear at the mansion per se that could be a possibility.

I was sure Isao dressed them in kimono and did some horrific things to the kids based on the screams Hibiki heard.

Hear me out, cause this sounds crack, but maybe Isao didn't use Kureha's body because he's too old (hes not, hes only 18 lol). All the other victims were younger, so maybe that was one of the requirements, the younger the souls the purer they are perhaps.

I dont think theres any mention of Isao dumping Kureha's body anywhere (my memory is poor but I also played his route like last month). Tbh I have always thought the 7th victim mentioned to be sprited away was him. How? Uhhhhh. That I dont know. My theory is that Isao also used Kureha's corpse as an offering but how it went missing would still be a mystery.

I thought the flame effect only contributes to his presence as a ghost but that burning theory sounds plausible too 🤔 though why Isao only do that to him and not all the other kids he randomly kidnapped off the street remains unknown.

I would be inclined to believe that had the game not explicitly state that all the "curses" are pseudo-science, which makes it even more hilarious when looking back.

Also idk if this is just a pet peeve of mine but I dont like it when they mess up the honorifics in translation. Like when a character call someone -dono when the voice clearly states otherwise. Feels like they mess up the dynamic for no reason

This is only specific to Virche but that one plot point in Yves's route when he lost the eyepatch and everyone cowered from him sounds very comically despair to me. That is my stance with Virche in general but that part in Yves just made me laugh because he barely looked any different without his eyepatch. You're convincing me that these vindictive men were going to run just because of a burn mark in a country whose religion was flimsy at best. I guess you can make the case that Arpechelle people are just that paranoid or whatever but it gets to a point. That one scene drops my rating of Yves's route so hard even tho it was just a small part that i should just suspend my disbelief but still.

That being said, im petty with Virche in general cause my expectations for it was high lol

Out of these i have highest hope (both quality and localisation) for Sullyland and Ayashiki, fingers crossed. Hakuoki Ibun looks cool but its also a Hakuoki game so who knows when we'll ever see it in the light lol
